Meet The Planner

Cynthia Stauffer is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, and an EA (Enrolled Agent, a tax professional admitted by the U.S. Department of Treasury).  With over 20 years experience in the financial services industry, she is the CFP® practitioner of Wisemoney Solutions, an independent wealth management practice located in Claremont, California.  Prior to launching her practice in 1997, she has served various positions in banking, mortgage and a major tax preparation firm.  She holds a MBA from Emporia State University in Kansas.

Cynthia focuses on financial planning, taxation, investments and retirement planning for baby-boomers, pre-and-post retirees, and small businesses. She brings together both financial and tax planning knowledge to help clients pursue their financial well-being and avoid costly mistakes that affect their financial future.

She understands the concerns that many clients have about their unique family situations and issues.  Her client commitment is to carefully evaluate their financial needs/wants, resources, risk tolerance, and time horizon to tailor a do-able action plan to align with client's financial goals.

As a financial professional, her passion is to work closely with clients, providing prudent advice and coaching with the goal to help clients build wealth and live a comfortable financial life.

Cynthia is an active long term member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), National Association of Estate Planner Councils (NAEPC), and California Society of Enrolled Agents (CSEA).  She often involves in various community-based organizations such as Junior Achievements (JA) or local community colleges to teach financial literacy program for age appropriated groups.
